The fact – and sense - that most every recording contains music once created

actually in something we call live is all too often missing when we play back that

recording.

When we introduced the aiwon in early winter 2014 we were amazed by its subtle detail, by its ability to recreate tiny, tantalizing details – minor details which so immensely support the emotional impact and the sense of reality in a sonic picture.

Over the next 18 months we experimented with a few samples of the aiwon trying to further fine tune for even more impact in performance.

But it was not before we made subtle changes in some key inherent design parameters that we entered new ground.

This was the birth of the design which then evolved in the spring of 2016 into the palladian.

The palladian features a hand hammered Timet 1100 Titanium body of unequalled strength and with an unparalleled ability to transfer energy.

In the palladian we find a strong heart with more energy (coil windings), a body more agile with less inertia (reduced moving mass), featuring further a very special, subtle mix of small measures taken to fine tune each and every parameter of performance allowing for a sonic explosion beyond our expectations and hopes.

The hand hammered body, the quick silverish shine like a dragon’s skin - The palladian Timet 1100 body expresses visually its agility, vital dynamic and live-likeness.

The palladian brings that spark of live back into the sonic presentation of each and every recording.

This is our statement regarding low output moving coil phono cartridge design.

It shares the same general architecture with it's smaller brother - the archon©.
It however displays and incorporates a bundle of different improvements in most vital parts - some easy to spot, some very subtle and hidden - in micro design, material composition, individual fine-tuning and - ultimately ... - sonic performance.

The aiwon© is the best example for what improvement is still possible in phono analog front-end sonic performance.
Possible only if all parameters are carefully fine-tuned.
Fine-tuned to thus create much more than the mere sum of the parts.

The most cartefully selected archons - picked for homogenous frequency response and extremely close matching channels - are transferred into the special housing featuring a constellar pattern handcrafted with pure 24kt Gold inlays.

Inside the astron features additional dampening in 3 important points for advanced resonance control and an extra "quietness" in sonic background.
The astron is a limited edition high performance cartridge by nature.
Only 18 samples are made each year - only 18 astrons do feature the same star pattern on the Timet 1100 body.

We herewith proudly introduce the fideles - an all-new high-end phono cartridge.

„fideles“ derivates from Latin / German and stands for „faithful, - as well as agile and lively“.


Unusual in this price class, the fideles features a solid advanced Titanium Timet 1100 body of unparalleled energy transfer ability and unique combination of strength and light weight.

The generator system is a double-magnet - focused field - moving ferrum pipe - principle which gives a healthy high output of 5.5 mV.
Very easy handle for any phono stage and no need for a high-gain / moving coil phono input.
Any phono input with 35 to 50 dB gain and 47k to 100k impedance is fine.
The fideles’ Titanium body further features 3 rows of threads to allow perfect overhang in any headshell / tonearm.

The fideles produces a very dynamic, live-like, colorful, open, transparent and natural sound and performs solidly several steps above it’s price range.

It features very high trackability - above 90 µm! - and is very easy to align.
